Challenge

With Republicans firmly in control of the legislature, Democrats needed to nationalize the story, connect redistricting to broader attacks on democracy and voting rights, and keep the ongoing flood recovery at the center of the narrative.

Solution

Seeker organized a high-impact press conference at the Texas Capitol with Leader Jeffries and Texas Democratic leaders, centering on Trump’s role in forcing the maps, the timing amid disaster recovery, and the racial stakes of gerrymandering. Message frames, such as “rigged maps,” “silenced voters,” and “flood relief delayed,” were tailored for local and national outlets.

Result

The event garnered coverage across FOX 7 Austin, national newspapers, and premier political outlets, reaching more than 3 million Texans and generating approximately $500,000 in earned media value. It helped spark national scrutiny of mid-decade redistricting in Texas.

Challenge

Despite strong outcomes, TCCP required more visibility in a crowded workforce-development landscape to reach potential students, attract public attention, and demonstrate to policymakers how it connects federal clean energy investments to real careers.

Solution

Seeker secured front-page and feature coverage in major Texas outlets and built a dedicated website to highlight participant stories, graduation pathways, and enrollment information.

Result

The program gained name recognition as a model pipeline into union apprenticeships, with strong graduate placements and increased credibility with key workforce and clean-energy stakeholders.

Challenge

More than 5,000 children sat on subsidy waitlists, forcing parents—especially mothers—to cut hours or leave work entirely. Even with a clear need, the campaign faced intense pushback around taxes and skepticism that the government could deliver.

Solution

Seeker helped mobilize a broad coalition including United Way, the Andy Roddick Foundation, business groups, and child-care providers. We paired high-touch grassroots organizing with disciplined message discipline, framing Prop A as a smart economic investment and amplifying trusted voices from parents, educators, and business leaders.

Result

Prop A passed with roughly 60% of the vote, securing $75 million annually to create nearly 10,000 new child-care slots, expanding access for thousands of families and making Travis County a statewide model for child-care reform.

Challenge

The national conversation on voting rights had stalled, and Democratic strategy appeared fragmented. Even if the quorum break succeeded procedurally, there was no guarantee the media would treat it as more than a stunt—or that it would build pressure for federal action.

Solution

Seeker helped design the messaging strategy with key legislators, executed a midnight press conference to seize the news cycle, and coordinated a follow-through campaign in Washington: a Capitol Hill blitz, two White House visits, and a national letter signed by nearly 500 state legislators in all 50 states, in partnership with the Center for American Progress.

Result

The quorum break generated hundreds of media placements and millions of dollars in earned media value, positioning Texas Democrats as defenders of democracy and helping unify national Democrats around voting-rights legislation.

Challenge

Once the wells are drilled and the hardware is buried, geothermal is essentially invisible. Bedrock needed a compelling narrative and visuals to help people “see” what was happening underground—and to use this first project to open doors with policymakers, real-estate developers, and investors.

Solution

Seeker built a clear message framework, staged an on-site launch event, and coordinated with local, state, and federal stakeholders. We positioned the project as a proof-point for decarbonizing buildings and invited government, military, and private-sector leaders to experience it firsthand.

Result

The launch generated $3.75 million in earned-media value in a single month, with 316 news and broadcast mentions—including 51 TV and radio hits—and coverage from national outlets like The Hill, major Texas papers such as the San Antonio Express-News and Austin American-Statesman, and KXAN/Nexstar’s statewide network.

Challenge

Outdated perceptions, oil-industry narratives, and lack of awareness about incentives left policymakers skeptical and rural Texans unconvinced that EVs could work for them—or for the state’s grid and budget.

Solution

Seeker staged a 16-vehicle EV showcase and ride-and-drive at the Texas Capitol, then took the effort on the road with EV roadshows across East and West Texas. The campaign paired hands-on test drives with local storytelling and targeted press outreach.

Result

The effort generated 198 media hits, reached 2.6 million people, and produced more than $100,000 in earned-media value—establishing the coalition as a leading voice for EV adoption in Texas and helping normalize EVs in rural communities.

Challenge

This campaign of legal intimidation threatened the stability of the state’s nonprofit infrastructure. Organizations found themselves trapped in reactive crisis mode, vulnerable to misinformation, sudden legal threats, and legislative attacks, all while taxpayers funded the Attorney General’s crusade.

Solution

In partnership with Texas Future Project, Seeker launched a statewide defense strategy: building a coalition, coordinating messaging, training nonprofit staff on legal rights and best practices, monitoring more than 50 bills and six court cases, and crafting legislative strategies to blunt retaliatory measures. We provided direct crisis-comms support to groups under active investigation.

Result

The network trained 276 staffers from 130 nonprofits, raised $325,000 through emergency funder briefings, and secured an estimated $5.7 million in earned media over 60 days—creating a visible, united front against political retaliation and helping targeted groups keep doing their work.

Challenge

Rapid growth exposed gaps in internal and external communications and operational systems. BCHP needed clearer protocols, less reliance on a few leaders, and stronger storytelling to maintain productivity, foster innovation, and sustain long-term growth.

Solution

Seeker facilitated strategic retreats with department leads, refined communication protocols, and helped teams move faster with more clarity and less managerial bottlenecking. Externally, we worked to raise BCHP’s profile at major convenings and in the media.

Result

BCHP’s visibility and influence grew, including appearances at the White House Hunger Summit, SXSW, and Texas Tribune Festival, as well as expanded coverage in national, state, and local outlets and greater sway in state-level policymaking.

Challenge

Strict advertising rules and a lack of state-led public education meant companies like goodblend had to find creative, compliant ways to educate patients, combat stigma, and drive enrollment in TCUP.

Solution

Seeker helped launch a nine-city CannaBus media tour plus local store openings and digital content, using storytelling and on-the-ground events to explain TCUP, highlight patient experiences, and show how to safely access medical cannabis.

Result

The campaign generated 31 unique stories across every major Texas media market, produced over $1.54 million in media value, doubled Goodblend’s Instagram following, and drove major spikes in web traffic, patient sign-ups, and customer growth.

Challenge

Two anti-renewables billionaires and a landowner-rights group aggressively pushed S.B. 624, hoping to weaponize culture-war narratives and split environmentalists from renewable-energy developers.

Solution

On behalf of the Advanced Power Alliance, Seeker partnered with McGuireWoods to execute a multi-pronged strategy: media engagement, an ideologically and geographically diverse coalition, targeted digital ad campaigns, and direct engagement with key legislative caucuses.

Result

A bipartisan coalition in the Texas House ultimately defeated S.B. 624, preserving Texas’ leadership in wind and solar and blocking a bill that would have undermined reliability and investment.

Challenge

Although there was some bipartisan Senate support and industry backing, passing S.J. Res. 14 to restore Obama-era methane rules still required every Democratic vote in the U.S. House—especially from Texas members under intense oil-and-gas pressure.

Solution

Seeker executed a targeted campaign aimed at Texas Democrats in Congress, using social media, press outreach, op-eds, and direct engagement to make methane a jobs, health, and competitiveness issue—not just an environmental one.

Result

S.J. Res. 14 passed the U.S. House with unanimous support from the Texas Democratic delegation, restoring crucial methane protections and sending a strong signal to global buyers about the U.S.'s seriousness on climate.

Challenge

Voter education and approval was required to secure long-term, dedicated funding. The coalition needed to clearly communicate the measure’s economic, environmental, and community benefits to voters statewide.

Solution

Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) and EDF Action, together with the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) and National Wildlife Federation Action Fund (NWFAF), partnered with Seeker to educate voters and build support for the measure.

The effort focused on clear, accessible messaging around repairing infrastructure, developing new water supplies, expanding conservation, and protecting natural resources-while highlighting broad bipartisan support from urban and rural leaders across Texas.

Result

Texas voters approved Proposition 4 with strong bipartisan support (70.6% approval) securing $20 billion investment in water infrastructure and supply over the next 20 years, the largest voter-approved investment in water infrastructure in U.S. history. The victory ensures long-term funding for critical upgrades, strengthens water security for growing communities, and demonstrates the power of strategic, bipartisan engagement to deliver lasting impact.
